Mountain Bike Events

Our property is becoming a mountain bike magnet!

This year we already had three major mountain bike events on Kanjini land, and were just approached by another one.

Mates on MTB 2018 were riding from Townsville to Port Douglas to raise funds for the Roayl Flying doctor

C2K is a yearly charity bike event from Cairns to Karumba is raising funds to upgrade facilities and provide educational opportunities for students living in some of the remotest parts of Queensland.

Reef to Reef (R2R) held its inaugural FNQ event as a qualifying race for the world famous Cape Epic in South Africa. Over 250 riders raced through our property and the feedback we got from the organisers was that even professional riders said that was the best day of riding they ever had!

Enjoy the pics!

The riders had some hard climbs...

and some pleasant shady stretches along the creek.

We put up a welcome and good by sign for them where they entered and left our property
